About the event
On this trip, students will participate in a hands-on lesson, expoloring cultural objects, to learn about the Catawba Nation's 6000 years of history. They will also go on a guided nature walk, learning about plant identification, wildlife, history, storytelling, and songs. The target age range is 3rd to 5th grade. Younger school aged students and older students are allowed to participate in the program.
The cost of this trip is $15 per school aged student. Preschoolers who aren't participating in the program and babies, as well as parents, are at no cost.
Following the program, you are invited to picnic on the grounds. There is no food available for purchase, so you will need to pack a lunch.
Tickets are not refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your tickets to another member, but this will be your responsibility. Please remember this event is only to be shared in the member group. Thanks!
